Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: July 7, 2026

1. Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for GapperLab paid subscriptions. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Use.

2. Free tier and paid plans

GapperLab offers a free tier so you can evaluate the platform before paying. Paid plans (Analyst, Quant) are billed on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically until you cancel.

3. Your service starts immediately

When you subscribe to a paid plan, you expressly request that access to the paid features begins immediately, at the moment of payment, rather than after any waiting period. You confirm this request at checkout before paying.

4. Right of withdrawal (consumers) — 14 days

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason.

Because you asked for the service to start immediately (Section 3), if you exercise this right within the 14-day period we will refund the amount corresponding to the part of the billing period you have not yet used, calculated on a pro-rata basis. The portion of the service already provided up to the moment of your withdrawal is chargeable and is not refunded.

To withdraw, email sales@gapperlab.com within 14 days of subscribing. We will process the refund without undue delay using the same payment method you used.

5. Cancellations after the 14-day period

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Outside the 14-day right of withdrawal described in Section 4, we do not issue partial refunds for the unused part of a period that has already been paid.

6. Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. To avoid the next charge, cancel before the renewal date. A renewal payment that has already been taken is not refundable, except where the statutory right of withdrawal in Section 4 applies.

7. Business customers

The statutory right of withdrawal applies only to consumers. If you subscribe as a business or as a self-employed person acting in a professional capacity, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply, although you may still cancel at any time as described in Section 5.

8. Failed payments

If a scheduled payment fails, your account may be downgraded to the free tier until a valid payment method is provided.

9. How to cancel or request a refund

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. For withdrawal requests or any question about this policy, contact sales@gapperlab.com.
